What are VA priority 4 benefits?
Veterans Priority 4 benefits are pension plus A & A; housebound ; and catastrophically disabled.
Benefits include free medications (if not reimbursed by the NSC pension), durable medical equipment, incontinence supplies, diabetic testing supplies, oxygen, eye glasses, hearing aids and batteries, and VA hospital/doctor services. However, dental is not included.
For drugs, the Veteran must be enrolled in the VHA system by completing form 10-10EZ. Drugs can be shipped to the veteran in 90 day quantities.
A few state VA hospitals are requesting that the veteran visit once a year.
