A free workshop for veterans, their spouses or survivors, and professionals on the Veteran's Benefit aid and attendance pension will be held at 9.00 am on December 8 th, 2010

The tax-free pension is designed to help veterans and their families with the costs associated with the final stages of life. It can be as much as $23,396 annually for married veterans or $19,736 for single veterans. It’s estimated that more than 25 million veterans or surviving spouses qualify for the benefit but only 143,000 vets are now receiving the pension.
